Student Directed Project.
For my student directed project in term 3 I tried to make a dolphin that would move like it was swimming in through the water.
This is the final, rendered product of my dolphin project. And below are 2 different points of view of the animation.

These are some pictures of the dolphin while I was in the process of making it.
I started with making the body by using a few simple commands.
Then I went on to make the fins and the tail almost the same way I made the body, but with one less step so it was actually easier.
The dorsel fin was also made in the same way that the fins and the tail were.
Making the blowhole was actually the easiest part of the whole project, which makes sense because it was the smallest and least important of all of the components that went into making this dolphin.
This was an easy, but complicated part of the process, if that makes any sense. It was easy because all you had to do was move the control points, but it was hard because you had to move them in the exact right position or else everything would get messed up.
This is another example of me using the control points. I used them to make it look like the tail was attached to the end of the body rather than it just being there.
This is the final wireframe of my dolphin.
